Very few Americans know about Gary McKinnon. They should because if he is extradited, the chances are that the media lapse will mean he could be spirited away from the public eye.
We think that the more people in the US who know about him - the better his chance at justice.

I think that a lot of the UFO community and those aware of the "shadow" government here in the states know about Gary and his case and have known for some time. Other than that, I have not heard mention of him.
ReplyDeleteI was in touch w/ his mother at one point and wrote to someone in the British gov't. at her suggestion, but other than that, most of what I've seen as support actions have, naturally, been in the UK.
I will check to see if there is a US support site.

The IEEE Magazine (www.ieee.org), IEEE Spectrum, July 2011 edition had a the Gary case featured in its front cover. A lot of people in the US have heard of him now.
